Flash Animation project hits snag

Posted on: November 13th, 2011

So I have apparently hit a bit of a snag on my Flash animation project due in just under two weeks.  Apparently I’ve been approaching the break-down and rigging of the character all wrong.  Going to have to start mostly from scratch on getting her set up, rigged and animated. Up side?  I haven’t done [...]

Capstone Project – new direction

Posted on: October 14th, 2011

So after talking things over with my instructor last night, I have chosen to alter the direction my ITT Capstone project was headed.  For personal and story reasons, I have decided to put production of the Shadows of Umbra comic on hold for the time being and focus my school project on web design. The [...]

Shadows of Umbra – weekly update

Posted on: October 13th, 2011

So, it turns out I’m not so hot at the everyday update thing.  Realized very quickly that most of what i was doing on a daily basis is very boring and would not amount to much from an update perspective.  So I’m going to back off and try to update at least weekly, sometimes more [...]

SIEGE, the Southern Interactive Entertainment and Game Expo, was held this past weekend in Atlanta, GA. Overall, I had a much more productive experience with SIEGE than with AWA this year.  Over the course of the weekend I was able to meet some very interesting folks working with companies such as Kaneva, Digital Roar, Tripwire [...]

Shadows of Umbra (SoU) – ITT Capstone Project

Posted on: October 6th, 2011

This is something I’ve been promising myself I would do, so here goes. AWA – post con

Posted on: October 6th, 2011

As promised, AWA 2011 post-con wrap-up. Weekend started off rather poorly; I honestly should have known it wasn’t getting any better.  Left Greenville at 6:30 am heading for Atlanta.  I eschewed filling up the tank on my way out because it was cold and I had close to half a tank – it ought to [...]

AWA – post con (short version)

Posted on: October 3rd, 2011

OK, just got back from AWA this evening.  This is going to be the short version of the Post-con report as I need time to distill the longer version. Essentially, in terms of business, this weekend was a bust.  I made a whopping 0 sales and did a poor job of getting my name “out [...]

Posted a new image to the 3D Environment gallery this afternoon.  This one is a stalactite and stalagmite filled grotto cavern. With this particular piece I was trying for a somewhat wet look to the rock formations and ended up with a surface that sparkles in the mysterious lighting. See the Image.
