Slight changes to Armory pricing
J. Michael Koontz on September 26, 2009 in Uncategorized | Comments OffIt has come to my attention that I spend almost as much time painting custom weapons as I do in the actual building process. This has unfortunately been costing me money in terms of time when it comes to creating custom made weapons.
Instead of randomly raising prices, however, what I have chosen to do is offer customers the choice of base tape colors at te prices listed or spending an extra $15 for custom paint job. I think this will help to rectify the issue.
For the time being I am going to work with four basic tape colors, brown, black, gray and white. For the most part I will built blades in gray with hilts in choice of brown of black standard. On request, I can vary the colors within the four as the customer wishes, within reason.
Custome paint jobs can be added for an additional $15. This should allow me to put a good amount of effort into the paint without feeling like I need to hurry the job to get my time’s worth out of the commission price. Anyone who has seen my custom paint work, I hope, would feel that $15 is more than worth the added expense.
